Regular Business Meeting

Minutes 01/21/07

Charlie Carpenter called the meeting to order at 3:05 p.m.

Officers present are: Robert Morrow, Larry Moore, Linda Steinhoff; Board members present are: Jim O’Leary and Michael Brininstool.

Guests: Bill (K9NY) and Charlotte Kraft (KC9EVZ)

Quorum: YES

Treasurer’s Report given by Larry Moore, covering the December 2006 to January 2007.

Balance in Checking account is $2000.78. Mike Mello motioned to approve the report and seconded by Fred Walters. Motion passed.

No Secretary’s report given. The December meeting was a dinner and installation of new officers.

Old Business

Motorcycle races: regular meeting Thursday afternoon @ the cycle shop.

Larry Moore stated that Carl told him the meeting is on the 17^th-18^th.

Dick Spoula said that Bill Leehan has a Tripod antenna that could be used for the Tarantula races. Jim O’Leary said that maybe 10 people would still be needed to man the check points. Members volunteering were:

Soccer Tournaments

Mike Brininstool stated that the tournaments would be on Feb. 24^th and 25^th. More volunteer hams were needed to man the tables at each site in order to make sure that there were enough officials present or if in an emergency. Larry Moore and Robert Morrow volunteered to help. These would be for 4 hour shifts. Contact would be: Mike Brininstool at 921-3875 (cell).

New Business:

Fred Walters brought up that Mike and Michelle Long had their baby on 24^th Dec. 2006. There is going to be a baby shower for Cecilia after the breakfast on Feb. 3^rd@ 10 am, at their home. This is a couple’s thing, so everyone is invited.

Motion made by Dick Spoula to adjourn the meeting, seconded by Roy Bennett. Motion passed.
