Business Meeting

Charlie Carpenter called the meeting to order at 3:00 p.m.

Members present are: Roy Bennett, Mike Brininstool, Gene Mangold, Larry Moore, Rick Norton, Jim O’Leary, Fred Walters, Dick Spoula and Linda Steinhoff.

Guests: Becky Brininstool and Rocio Norton, Ralph Gaines.

Minutes of the March meeting approved.

Treasurer’s Report: Approved, as per the Board of Directors meeting. See attached financial report. OFCU is zeroed out and transferred straight across to LOCO CU.

CD #1…is $1346.73 is due to mature in about 1 ½ yr.

Larry Moore brought up the insurance information. Larry stated he would go on Monday to the Fairgrounds and verify the policy coverage, $275.00/year. Ins. Co, Lynch and Schulz. Schulz died last week.

Old Business:

Hamfest List of equipment by 1 April for sealed bid.

New Business;

Rails to Trails-foot race –Trestle Recreation area to Bailey Canyon and back on June 2^nd. It will be in the early morning. They could use a couple of more people (4 or 5) to work the check points. The Forest Service had contingency conditions for this race. If the ham radio check points were not there, there would not be any race.

Field Day-Robert Morrow volunteered his place for Field Day. It will be pot luck, with some assistance, monetarily, from the club. Members will bring other foods.

Ralph Gaines, a guest, stated that he had need of a couple of items: Coaxial cable RG176 about 6’ and a 61 MHz ferrite.
